Electric Bus Launch

Celebrating the launch of electric buses in Newport.

In partnership with Genero Group, DAKONA were tasked to film the historic launch of Newport’s electric bus fleet — a milestone in sustainable transportation in Wales. Hosted at the prestigious ICC Wales, this event marked Newport’s significant advancement towards eco-friendly public transit solutions.

Our video crew consisted of two camera operators and an event photographer, documented the entire day meticulously. We expertly captured compelling presentations, dynamic vox pops, and engaging interviews with Newport Council officials and enthusiastic community members, creating a vivid portrayal of the event’s importance and energy.

Fun fact — the event also featured Mathew Pritchard, well-known author of the “Dirty Vegan” cookbook! He discussed sustainable living, which resonated deeply with attendees and provided engaging content for our filming.

The client was super happy with the finished video, and and we loved being part of such a meaningful and positive event!
